The Upper Cumberland Railroad Society (UCRS) is a registered Tax Exempt Corporation by the State of Tennessee, and has been designated as an IRC 501(c)(3) Charitable organization by the IRS.

The society was responsible for the many years of Educational classes/clinics provided to the general public, as well as our Historical and Museum displays located within the Crossville Outlet Center, Suite 109, in the room to the rear of the Crossville Model Railroad Display for the past 14+ years. This tenure however, was terminated with our notification from the Outlet Center ownership that our Lease would be terminated on March 31, 2023, as well as many other establishments in the Center, due a change in venue by the new management.

Our substantial Museum, Educational Library of printed and audio railroad topics for use by the general public has been boxed and stored in a climate controlled facility until we are able to secure a new facility in Crossville. During the past 3 years, we were unable to secure an appropriate facility in Crossville to Rent/Lease.

Our Quarterly clinics have continued to be held, and for the last sevveral years we have been fortubate to be able to utilize Sheehan Hall in the rear of St Francis of Assisi Church in Fairfield Glade to host our clinics.
